ALFAJORES OF MAICENA
Ingredients:
1 ¼ cup cornstarch (cornstarch)
1 / 2 cup flour
2 teaspoons of baking powder
1 / 4 cup powdered sugar
2 yolks of eggs
1 teaspoon ralladura lemon or orange
1 to 2 tablespoons milk (if necessary)
3 / 4 to 1 cup manjarblanco to fill
3 tablespoons butter or margarine
Preparation:
Cernir the cornstarch with the flour and baking powder.
Beat butter with the powdered sugar until creamy, add the yolks, one at a time, while still beating. Then Add the cornstarch mixture and ralladura lemon or orange.
Flush with a horizontal surface with your hands together and form a ball. Cover with a canvas and let stand 20 minutes. If the mixture is too dry, add a little milk. Sprinkle generously with flour the table and extend the dough roller to 3 mm (1 / 8 inch) thick or so. Cut dough in circles for individual alfajores (5 cm / 2 ½ inches).
Place in greased oven for plate and enharinada.
